We are thankful for the arrival of Benjamin Stanley Jacob into our lives. He joined us on the 10th April weighing in at a healthy 10lb 4 oz! Under Doctor’s advice we remained in the UK until he was 6 weeks old then travelled back to Tanzania. Amazingly Benjamin slept the whole 10 hour flight! What a relief that was!
Benjamin has settled very well into life here in Tanzania and is very good at being cuddled by everyone he meets! He has received many visitors from our neighbourhood and gifts including mangoes, bananas & a live chicken (later made into chicken soup to give Karen strength as the local custom goes).
Health wise we are doing well but there is a lot of Malaria around at this time of the year due to high mosquito activity following the long rains. Please pray that the Graham household will continue to be a Malaria free zone!
The children are now on school break and Karen is on maternity leave until January . We are thankful that prayers were answered and HOPAC have been able to find teaching cover for Karen during her absence. We celebrate our 15th Wedding Anniversary on 20th July & Lois will be celebrating her 8th birthday on August 2nd!
