We operated from our new venue: The Haven of Peace Academy (HOPAC). It is awesome that this International School has opened its gates to some of the poorest kids in their neighbourhood. We are truly grateful to the School Management Team for this opportunity.
But how many would show up? A new day? A new starting time? A new location? Well we were thrilled to receive 71 children!
You need to understand that if 71 came week 1............... week 2????
Also, this was just for our children aged 8 and over! Today we host our 7 and under group at their new venue in Salasala: The garden of Simon & Laura Walton! When I say garden it is more like an activity park: bike (tricycle) track, sand pit, water play, wall chalking (chalk graffiti!!), skipping, basketball hoop and of course singing to Jesus! How many will come? Well, we will find out in 2 hours!!!
God has been faithful to us throughout the existence of this Kids Club and we are excited about the future! Who knows, one day, we may well get our own land and build the Salasala Children's Sports, Creative Arts and Community Centre?? Well I do know this, WITH God ALL things are possible!!
Keep praying for these Kids. We and they appreciate it very much!
